The Social AI MCP server connects Claude, Codex, Antigravity, Windsurf, Perplexity, VS Code Copilot and Cursor to the website builder — so your AI can create, edit, stock and publish complete websites and online stores directly from chat.
Hosted OAuth · No JSON, npm install, or API key needed for Claude and Cowork
Repository MCP v1.6.0 is pending release; npm latest remains v1.5.4.
The setup button copies Social AI's reviewed OpenAI endpoint and opens ChatGPT Plugins. Existing SocialAI entitlements apply; purchases remain on SocialAI.one. Turn on Developer mode, press +, paste the URL, then complete Social AI OAuth. ChatGPT does not currently provide a supported link that can create an unpublished custom app automatically. Accounting records returned by the connector include direct Social AI verification links.
Connect another AI client
Cursor supports a true install deep link. Other clients copy the endpoint and open their supported setup surface. MCP 1.5.5 accounting results include direct Social AI verification links.
Create your Social AI account — no credit card needed. Your 30-day full-access trial starts immediately.
Claude, Cowork, and other remote clients use the OAuth connector. Local CLI and IDE clients use the npm configuration and an API key.
"Build me a fashion store for Cape Town with Paystack." The AI handles templates, products, theme, and publishing.
New accounts get full MCP write access for 30 days. Create websites, add products, configure payments, and publish live — no credit card, no upgrade required. After 30 days: upgrade to Pro to keep building via MCP, or use the visual editor on our Free plan. MCP 1.5.5 also returns direct verification links for accounting books, contacts, invoices, bills and supplier-payment records.
Start your free trialClaude.ai, Claude Desktop, Cowork, and other OAuth-capable clients can connect directly to Social AI using one-click authorisation — no JSON config, no API key copy-paste.
No OAuth window appeared
Remove the connector, add https://socialai.one/api/mcp again, and choose Connect. Do not switch to JSON setup in Cowork.
Login worked but tools are missing
Start a new conversation, open + → Connectors, enable Social AI, and ask the AI to call get_started. A connector is only verified when a tool is callable.
Using a local CLI or IDE
Use the npm configuration below with a user API key. Keep the real key in the local config or secret store; do not paste or repeat it in chat.
Consent or redirect error
Remove and re-add the connector, then retry in a fresh browser tab. If it still fails, report the client name and exact error without including tokens or passwords.
For stdio-based tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code Copilot) — use the same npm package and the config file shown for your tool. Keep the real key in that local file or a secret store; use the placeholder when asking an AI for setup help.

Choose your tool above and send its configuration with the placeholder still present. Enter the real key only in the local config or secret prompt:
Install the Social AI MCP for me. Save this configuration to the correct MCP config file for this tool, keeping my other MCP servers unchanged. Leave SOCIALAI_API_KEY as a placeholder and tell me where to enter it locally without posting it in chat. Restart or reconnect the MCP, call get_started, then list my Social AI websites to verify that a tool is actually callable. After Social AI creates or edits a website, it returns a draft preview link. Open it in your preferred external browser once (or copy the link there if your AI opens an unreliable built-in browser), then refresh that same tab after each change. The draft link is safe to use before publishing; the published link is only for the live site.
Say: “After every change, call get_preview_url and show me a clickable preview link.”
Open the draft preview in your default browser. Your AI client does not need to control that tab.
Refresh after each edit, then tell the AI what to change next or ask it to publish.
Just describe what you need — your AI figures out which tools to call. For a reviewable workflow, add: “Show me the draft preview link after each change; do not publish until I approve.”
"Build me a fashion store for New York, set up Stripe, and publish it"
→ Sets country=US, currency=USD → configures Stripe → publishes live
"List your shop templates, then build me a coffee brand store from the best match"
→ Browses templates → forks the right one → seeds products → sets theme
"Set this store up for South Africa with Paystack and import 10 products from this CSV"
→ Sets country=ZA, currency=ZAR → recommends Paystack → bulk imports products
"Build a clothing store for the UK with Stripe and write the About page"
→ Sets country=GB, currency=GBP → Stripe → generates About page content
"Create a Lagos-based sneaker store with Paystack and add 20 products"
→ Sets country=NG, currency=NGN → configures Paystack → adds products in bulk
"Write the About page for my hair salon, include our story and services"
→ Generates About page content → creates page → populates all blocks
"Publish the site and tell me the live URL"
→ Runs publish_website → returns live link at *.socialai.one
"Add size variants S/M/L/XL to all my clothing products"
→ Reads products → adds variants to each one automatically
All 46 tools are documented and type-safe. The AI reads the descriptions and picks the right sequence automatically.
The MCP includes list_blocks, so AI clients can show users real block names and reference links before adding headers, heroes, promo sections, product rows, forms, and footers.
Tell your AI which country the store is for and it automatically sets the right currency, recommends local payment providers, and uses the correct address format.
16+ countries supported — just say which country your store is for and the AI handles the rest.
Connect the hosted MCP with OAuth, enable Social AI in a new conversation, and tell your AI what to build.
